Social and Speed Puzzling Fundraiser Event Ticket - Full Day

Are you looking for tickets for only the evening of casual social puzzling, without the speed puzzling? Click here to get your tickets.

While puzzling is often thought of as a quiet, solo activity, something truly special happens when puzzlers come together. Our community is passionate, welcoming, and incredibly supportive, and this fundraising event is an opportunity for us to put that community spirit toward something meaningful.

Join us for a full day of pairs speed puzzling, teams speed puzzling and casual social puzzling. We will have an online silent auction, with all money raised donated to the Alberta Children's Hospital Foundation (ACHF).

Are you a solo puzzler without a partner or team? We will match you with other solo puzzlers. Do you already have a partner or team? Great, make sure to note their names on the form below.

Pairs Competition

Two puzzlers will work together on a 500 piece puzzle. All pairs will receive one copy of the same 500 piece puzzle. You will have 2 hours to complete the puzzle. 

Teams Competition

A team of four puzzlers will work together to complete a 1000 piece puzzle. All teams will receive one copy of the same 1000 piece puzzle. You will have 2.5 hours to complete the puzzle. 

Prizes

Prizes will be awarded to the top experienced puzzlers and top beginner puzzlers for each competition.

• Beginner puzzlers: those who self identify as being able to complete a 500 piece puzzle in 90 minutes or more
• Experienced puzzlers: those who self identify as being able to complete a 500 piece puzzle in under 90 minutes

Casual Social Puzzling

Decompress after the speed competitions with casual social puzzling. Grab a puzzle, find a table, and dig in. You're welcome (and encouraged) to join a table with people other than your teammates to meet new puzzlers and make more connections. There will be 2.5 hours for social puzzling.

• Event runs from 10:45am - 7:30pm

Lunch

Sandwich trays will be provided. Sorry, we cannot accommodate dietary requests.  

Important Information

• The event ticket includes all activities for the full day
• Tickets are sold per person
• All proceeds go to Alberta Children's Hospital Foundation
• Tables are pre-assigned. You do not need to arrive early to find a table
• Please note that we will be photographing and taking videos at the event. The photos and videos will be used on social media and to promote future events
• Tickets are non-refundable. In the case that you are unable to attend, please contact info@rubyspuzzlecorner.com as soon as possible

Online Auction

The online auction for the Social and Speed Puzzling Fundraiser is live! Every cent goes directly to the Alberta Children's Hospital Foundation. 

There's so much more than puzzles, there are activities, dinners, health and wellness packages, pet packages, etc. We've received lots of fabulous donations, please be sure to check them out and share with everyone you know 😉

There is also a donate tab where you can submit a donation directly to the Alberta Children's Hospital Foundation. Donations over $20 will receive a tax receipt. 

Items will be at the event to see and for winners to collect if in attendance. The online auction ends at 5:30pm on October 17, 2026. Don't worry, if you're attending the event you'll be able to check on your bids during the social puzzling time so you don't miss out.
